Almost $400,000 of donated medical and other important items shipped to Haiti!
Our mission is to work through partnerships and in collaboration to connect the resources of generous Americans to help those in need in their local communities and to enable people to help themselves. So, we teamed up with the United Way of the National Capital Area and Interstate Worldwide Relocation Services to collect medical supplies and here is what we just shipped to Haiti and our local partner on the ground saving and rebuilding lives.

28 emergency health kits (containing bath towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo and combs)
1,586 pounds of new clothing
2,986 pairs of new socks
1,200 pairs of new children’s underclothes
106 boxes of exam gloves, donated by Chagrin Safety Supply
1,442 pounds of medical equipment (walkers, crutches, adult and child wheelchairs, power scooters, handicap wheelchairs and other assorted handicap equipment.)
1,978 pounds of medical supplies
296 pounds of new clothing, donated by Hanna Anderson
670 pounds of medical items and relief supplies
38 pieces of donated office furniture
9 boxes assorted household items
6 pieces assorted children’s items i.e. stroller, swings and bouncy seats
Total value of items justshipped to Haiti = $386,608.88 (plus $4,086 shipping costs)
