This Christmas…Give the Gift of a Loving Home to an African Orphan Like Faith

faith
faithThere are three million orphaned or abandoned children in Kenya. Only 25,000 of them have a place in a children’s home.

A year ago, Faith’s mother came to the doorstep of our African partners at the Lewa Children’s Home in Eldoret, Kenya to tearfully beg Phyllis Keino – Bread and Water for Africa’s spokesperson and the Lewa Home’s Director – to care for her daughters, Faith and Rukia. Phyllis could not turn them away and never found out what happened to Faith’s mother after that day, but prays that she rests in peace.

A year ago, Faith arrived at the Lewa home with little hope outside of the mercy of Phyllis and the Lewa Home, but with the sadness of a little girl being separated from her mother. Today, she is known for her contagious smile and vibrant spirit.

faithlgWe know that, as our supporters, you too care deeply about the future and survival of children like Faith. But the sad truth is that without your financial contributions, we are limited in our capacity to support much-needed programs like the Lewa Children’s Home and care for all of the children that need us. But by sending us your gift today, you can help ensure that we never have to turn away a child in need – like Faith.

We hope that our successes and long-term impact in the communities we partner with reaffirms your commitment to the future of African children. Your continued support can make all the difference. After all, look at what it’s done for Faith and her baby sister in just one year!

The holiday season is a time to reflect on how fortunate we all truly are. We hope you will allow us to give the gift of shelter, food, water, and – above all – hope to these less fortunate children.

From our team here at Bread and Water for Africa®, we wish you, your family, and all the children in YOUR life a happy holiday season and a blessed New Year!
